Advanced Dutch 3D technology in advertising debut at London Liverpool Street Station

Starting 1 October, a groundbreaking 3D advertising pavilion in the heart of the City of London will feature the Netherlands as the best place for European business development.

Using advanced 3D technology developed by Dutch technology giant Philips,

Balfour Group set up eight 42” screens in the futuristic WOW pavilion in Broadgate’s Finsbury Avenue Square close to London’s Liverpool Street Station. The advanced 3D technology does not require special glasses.

3D magic - without the glasses

UK and Dubai-based media company Balfour International Group are currently placing the latest in 3D technology at major malls and events throughout the Middle East.

The technology, manufactured by Philips, which partnered with Balfour, sees 3D images fly right out of the screen for the first time without the need for any 3D glasses.

Kalaam Telecom, in a forward-thinking move, released their latest corporate campaign for 2011 in 3D! Now screening at Bahrain International Airport (BIA) till 31st December 2010, Kalaam’s 3D animated advert is showcased in three 42-inch 3DTV screens and requires no special glasses to view.

Kalaam in 3D at Bahrain International Airport

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain: Kalaam Telecom, in a forward-thinking move, released their latest corporate campaign for 2011 in 3D! Now screening at Bahrain International Airport (BIA) till 31st December 2010, Kalaam’s 3D animated advert is showcased in three 42-inch 3DTV screens and requires no special glasses to view. Hosted by Balfour International Group, the 3D experience kiosks installed in both the arrivals and departures concourses broadcast continuous footage of vivid visuals and animated adverts that provide the 3D effect based on Phillips ‘Wow” 3D technology.

Scottish Widows Unveils New 3D Advertising Campaign

Today at St. Pancras International station, Scottish Widows has unveiled a new three-dimensional advertisement, designed to reinforce its leadership credentials in the pensions industry. The advertisement uses Phillips “Wow” technology (similar to 3D films), and is to be shown in the central concourse opposite Eurostar departures.
